HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS COLUMBIA NE - FORT JACKSON BY IHG, Columbia

The hotel sits right off the interstate, making it straightforward to reach by car. Fort Jackson is about a 10-minute drive, ideal for attending military graduations. Downtown Columbia is 13 km away, and the Columbia Metropolitan Airport is 24 km (27 km) from the property. Several restaurants-including Texas Roadhouse, Arby's, and Fazoli's-are within a short walk, and a gas station is nearby. The location is convenient for one-night stopovers as well, with easy on-and-off highway access. For exploring the city, the Congaree Vista district (art galleries, shops, dining) is a short drive, as are attractions like Riverbanks Zoo, Williams-Brice Stadium, and Sesquicentennial State Park.

The property offers standard double and queen rooms - no suites or kitchenettes are available. Beds are on the firmer side, which suits those who prefer more support. Some rooms include a sofa bed. Each room has a coffee maker, hairdryer, and in-room safe. Lighting can be dim in certain rooms, and some units may show wear such as worn table surfaces or bathroom floors. Noise from hallways and nearby rooms has been noted, so light sleepers may wish to request a quieter room. The hotel is entirely non-smoking. Wheelchair-accessible rooms are available, and the lift meets ADA standards.

The outdoor pool is open from mid-May through September, from 10:00 to 22:00. It features a shallow end, sun loungers, and a fence around the area. Towels are provided. The fitness centre is open 24 hours and includes a treadmill, elliptical machines, stationary bike, and free weights. A sun terrace and outdoor furniture are also available for relaxation.
