The Georgia World Congress Center is 1 km on foot. Business travellers are close to offices of Coca-Cola, Georgia Pacific, and SunTrust Bank. The area offers numerous restaurants, most within a few blocks. Walkability is excellent for sightseeing and event access, though the immediate neighbourhood can feel less busy in the evenings.

Rooms are in a historic building with original architecture retained in some smaller units; modern modifications aim to maximise space. Standard rooms are notably compact, more suited for solo travellers or couples than families or groups of four. High beds (waist-high) may be challenging for shorter individuals or those with limited mobility. Some rooms have windows only onto internal shafts, making them feel claustrophobic; request a room with an external window at booking. Noise from hallways and neighbouring rooms can be an issue, particularly near elevators. Air conditioning is effective in units with functioning equipment, but some older units may be noisy. All rooms are non-smoking and carpeted.
