HOLIDAY INN KNOXVILLE WEST - CEDAR BLUFF RD BY IHG, Knoxville

McGhee Tyson Airport is 27 km away, and the property is conveniently located for those traveling by car. Free parking is available on site without a reservation. The surrounding area is filled with dining options within a short walk, including Gibby's Dining & Drinks (0.5 km), Cracker Barrel (0.5 km), and several fast-food choices. The location is practical for visitors attending events at the University of Tennessee or exploring nearby attractions like Market Square and the Knoxville Zoological Gardens.

The property is an older, dated hotel that shows significant wear. Rooms often feature older furniture, worn carpets, and fixtures that may need repair. Issues such as noisy air conditioning units, leaking faucets, slow-draining tubs, and uncomfortable mattresses with visible springs have been noted. While cleanliness can be inconsistent, some rooms are well stocked with Dove toiletries. Road-facing rooms can be noisy, and the lack of soundproofing makes hallway and door-slamming noise a common concern. Requesting a room on a higher floor away from the elevator and the main road can improve sleep quality.

Both the indoor and outdoor pools are heated, with the indoor pool open year-round (subject to maintenance). The pool area includes pool/beach towels and has an indoor-outdoor layout. The hot tub and fitness centre are available free of charge. Additional leisure options include a games room and evening entertainment. The indoor basketball court is a unique on-site facility, though it has been reported closed for repairs on occasion. The outdoor pool is seasonal.

The hotel offers free WiFi in all areas, free public parking (no reservation needed), and a 24-hour front desk. Luggage storage is available for free. Business facilities include a free business centre and meeting/banquet facilities for an additional charge. Guest services include a free express check-in/check-out, an ATM on site, and daily housekeeping. Laundry and dry cleaning services are available for an additional charge. The property is fully non-smoking, has a lift, and offers facilities for disabled guests. A minimarket is on site. Safety features include CCTV, key card access, and safety deposit boxes.
