HOMARIS KREUZBERG 61, Berlin

The property is 2 km from Checkpoint Charlie and 2 km from the Topography of Terror. Berlin Brandenburg Airport is 22 km away. Public transport is excellent: bus M41 stops outside, and two U-Bahn stations (Hallesches Tor and Mehringdamm) are within a 5-10 minute walk, connecting to three metro lines. Bergmannstrasse, with its restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets, is a 10-minute walk. The area is generally quiet but well connected for exploring the city. On-street parking is free but can be scarce in the evenings.

Room types include studios and one-bedroom apartments, most with a separate kitchen and living area. Wheelchair-accessible studios have a roll-in shower; some also offer a bathtub (request at booking). Beds are double, with sofa beds for extra guests - sofa beds are firmer and less suitable for long-term sleep. Rooms are compact but practical, with effective soundproofing. There is no air conditioning, so summer nights require open windows, which can let in street noise. Pillows are thick; bringing a thinner alternative may improve sleep comfort.

Reception is open daily from 10:00 to 18:00; after hours, self check-in is available via a secure code sent on arrival day. Check-in is from 15:00, check-out by 11:00. Late check-out is free until 12:00, then €20 per hour. Pets are welcome with a nightly fee of €10. The property has a lift, vending machines, a laundry room with washer and dryer (app payment), and bicycle stands in the courtyard. Cots and an iron are available on request at reception. Housekeeping is provided weekly; additional cleaning can be arranged. There is no on-site parking - free street parking is possible nearby.
