B&B HOTEL BERLIN-KREUZBERG, Berlin

The hotel is in a quiet residential area with Gleisdreieckpark right outside, ideal for walks and relaxation. Gleisdreieck station (U1, U2, U3) provides quick connections to central Berlin and attractions. Potsdamer Platz is a 16-minute walk; Brandenburg Gate is about 30 minutes on foot. Several international restaurants, cafés, and a supermarket are within a 5- to 10-minute walk. The adjacent S-Bahn line means rooms facing the tracks experience train noise, especially with windows open. Rooms on the quieter side or with windows closed are significantly quieter. Public transport is the most practical way to explore the city - driving and parking are limited and costly.

Room categories include single, double, twin, triple, and family rooms. All rooms are air-conditioned and have individual heating control. Rooms are clean and contemporary but basic: no in-room fridge, minibar, or extensive wardrobe space (some rooms lack a dedicated wardrobe). Tea and coffee making facilities are available on request at reception. Bathrooms feature a walk-in shower; the shower can wet the entire bathroom floor if the curtain is not fully closed. Rooms facing the railway line can be noisy; requesting a 'comfort plus' or room on the courtyard side may improve sound insulation. Some rooms have a private balcony with city views. The TV is not a smart TV (no streaming apps). Housekeeping is provided every other day; daily service can be arranged at check-in.

Breakfast is served in a modern dining room and offers a wide selection: cold cuts, cheese, fresh pastries, bread, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, hard-boiled eggs, and hot items like pancakes. Coffee and juice are included. The breakfast room can become crowded during peak hours. Only the full buffet is offered; no à la carte items or single coffee purchases are available. The hotel has no restaurant or bar for evening meals, but a vending machine offers snacks. Several cafés and restaurants are within a short walk, including options for takeaway and sit-down dining.

The fitness centre is equipped with cardio and strength equipment, accessible 24 hours with key card. There is no pool, spa, or sauna. The adjacent Gleisdreieckpark provides ample green space for jogging, walking, and relaxation, with playgrounds and a popular brewhouse nearby.

WiFi is free throughout the hotel. Parking on site costs €25 per day (€40 for electric vehicles) with limited spaces on a first-come-first-served basis; no advance reservation is possible. Luggage storage is available for early arrivals or late departures. The front desk is staffed 24 hours. Safety deposit boxes are free at reception. Meeting facilities and fax/photocopying are available at an additional charge. The hotel is fully wheelchair accessible with adapted rooms (grab rails, lower sink, raised toilet). There is no laundry service. Check-in requires an ID and booking confirmation.
