HOME2 SUITES BY HILTON ORLANDO NEAR UNIVERSAL, Orlando

The location is ideal for Universal park visits, with the Universal shuttle departing from the sister hotel across the street. The area is walkable to many restaurants-including Red Lobster, Starlight Grille, KFC, Denny's, and Halal Food Express, all within 0.5 km-as well as a Walgreens pharmacy and an outlet mall. International Drive is very busy, but the hotel itself is set back enough to be relatively quiet. A car or ride-share is recommended for Disney properties, which are about a 20-minute drive away.

Breakfast runs from 7am to 10am and includes hot items such as eggs, sausage or turkey sausage, biscuits, and waffles, as well as cold options like yogurt, fruit, and cereal. While the variety is standard for the category, some find the hot items less consistent in temperature. The breakfast can be taken to the room, which is convenient for early park departure. The on-site minimarket stocks drinks and snacks, and the outdoor BBQ area is available for self-catering. Numerous restaurants are within a short walk for other meal options.

The outdoor pool is open daily from 08:00 to 22:00, has a shallow end and sun loungers, and is heated. It is compact but suitable for a refreshing dip, and tends not to be crowded. The fitness centre is located at the entrance with glass walls, so it is visible to all coming and going, but is equipped with a Peloton bike and other cardio equipment. A coin-operated laundry ($2 per load) and a shared lounge/TV area are also available for guest use.
