HOMEWOOD SUITES BY HILTON SAN JOSE SANTA CLARA, San Jose

The hotel sits in a business park area surrounded by tech offices, a 40-minute walk from Levi's Stadium. The location is well-regarded for business travellers and those attending events, with easy freeway access. While walking to restaurants or shops is not practical, several dining options - including Fish's Wild Grill, Chipotle, and Five Guys - are about 1 km away by car. The nearest large shopping centre is a 5-minute drive. The freeway noise is a known factor for rooms facing the road, so light sleepers should request a quieter room.

All rooms are spacious suites featuring a kitchen with a full-size fridge, dishwasher, and dish set for four. Each unit includes air conditioning, a TV with a welcome greeting display, tea and coffee maker, ironing facilities, and free toiletries. The suites have a separate bedroom or a studio layout with a sitting area and a sofa bed. Room configurations offer 1, 2 or 3 beds. Premium suites include snacks. There are no private bathrooms, balconies, or jacuzzis. The property has elevators and working ice machines. Highway noise can be loud in some rooms; a quieter interior-facing room is recommended.

Breakfast is included and offers a hot buffet with American and continental options, including a make-your-own waffle station. The kitchen staff are noted for their attentive service. For other meals, the hotel has a snack bar but no full restaurant. A complimentary evening social is held in the Lodge on Wednesdays. Several fast-casual and sit-down restaurants are within a 1 km drive, including Shan, Chipotle, Five Guys, and Sajj.

The outdoor swimming pool is heated to 26 °C and open from 11am to 7pm year-round. Access is limited: a reservation is required, only one room is allowed per time slot, and advance reservations are not accepted. The fitness centre is free, open 24 hours, and well-maintained. There is also a games room with table tennis, billiards, and a shared lounge/TV area. Note that there is no spa on site.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/out and complimentary luggage storage - useful for early arrivals or late departures. Parking is available on site for US$20 per day, includes accessible spaces and public EV charging stations (noted as sometimes full). The hotel is pet-friendly with a fee, and a minimarket is on site. Business facilities include fax/photocopying and meeting rooms for an additional charge. Daily housekeeping is free but must be requested; laundry and dry cleaning services are available for a fee. Safety deposit boxes are free.
