HOMEWOOD SUITES BY HILTON SARASOTA, Sarasota

The hotel sits in a commercial strip area near Fruitland Road, providing easy highway access and a central base for exploring Sarasota. Ed Smith Stadium is 5 minutes away, and downtown Sarasota, St. Armands Circle, Lido Beach, and Venice are within a 15-minute drive. A Publix supermarket is directly across the street, and several quick-service restaurants (Wendy's, Reyna's Taqueria, China Kitchen) are within 1 km. Traffic on the main road can be heavy during peak hours, but the hotel's central positioning makes car travel to beaches, shopping centers, and business areas straightforward. The free local shuttle helps cover an 8-km radius, though Siesta Key and Benderson Park are not served.

Breakfast is served daily and includes a hot buffet with a rotating selection - scrambled eggs, chorizo, breakfast tacos, waffles, and fresh fruit. Coffee is available throughout the day in the lobby. The hotel does not have an on-site restaurant or bar, but there is a Wednesday evening manager's reception (formerly a happy hour) offering complimentary snacks and drinks. A Publix supermarket is a short walk away for groceries, and nearby fast-casual and takeout options (Wendy's, Reyna's Taqueria, China Kitchen) are within 1 km. The full kitchen in the room allows guests to prepare their own meals.

The wellness facilities include an outdoor heated swimming pool (open until 10 pm), a hot tub (functionality may vary), and a fitness centre with new equipment. The sun terrace is furnished with loungers and has two BBQ grills for guest use. Free mini-golf is available on site, and the courtyard area offers a relaxed setting for reading or socialising. The pool and jacuzzi are generally well-maintained, though the hot tub has been reported as occasionally out of service. Board games are available for entertainment.

Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas and rooms, though connectivity can be inconsistent. Free private parking is available on site with no reservation needed, including accessible spaces; however, large vehicles like 18-wheelers may not fit. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/out, luggage storage, and an invoice service. A business centre with free fax/photocopying is available, and meeting/banquet facilities can be arranged at an additional charge. Laundry is on site (token-operated; tokens only available when management is present). The hotel is wheelchair accessible with ramps, lower bathroom sinks, raised toilets, and grab rails. Pets are allowed with applicable charges. Designated smoking areas and a minimarket are on site. Security features include fire extinguishers, key card access, and smoke alarms.
