The hostal occupies the 4th floor of a building on a lively pedestrian street, steps from Sol's shops, restaurants, and nightlife. All major attractions - Plaza Mayor (5 min), Royal Palace (10 min), Gran Vía (12 min), the Prado, Reina Sofía, and Thyssen museums - are within a 10-15-minute walk. La Latina and Chueca districts are each a 15-minute stroll. Sol metro station provides direct connections to Atocha train station, the airport, and all key lines. The surrounding streets are busy day and night, with dozens of bars, clubs, and eateries. While this offers convenience, it also means street noise can be significant, especially on weekend nights. Rooms facing the internal courtyard are considerably quieter.

Rooms are available as doubles (1 double bed), twins (2 single beds), and quadruples (4 beds). Each has parquet floors, a wardrobe, safe, heating, and a small fridge. Some rooms overlook the street, others face an internal courtyard - the courtyard-side rooms are noticeably quieter. The bathroom includes a bath or shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries; however, the bathrooms are very compact - turning around can be awkward, and the shower is small. Sound insulation between rooms is limited; conversations and hallway noises can be heard. The front-facing rooms also pick up street noise from the bars and clubs below, particularly at night. A kettle can be requested at reception (no coffee machine, no microwave). Double-glazed windows help reduce some external noise, but earplugs are recommended for light sleepers. Daily cleaning is standard; towels and bed linen are changed regularly. No balcony is available.

The hostal does not serve breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and there is no bar or vending machine. However, the surrounding streets are packed with cafés, bakeries, tapas bars, and restaurants - many open from early morning. La Mallorquina (pastry shop, 5 min) and Museo del Jamón (5 min) are popular for quick bites. For a sit-down meal, Restaurante Botín (the world's oldest restaurant) is a 5-minute walk. Ginger, Las Bravas, Lateral Santa Ana, and Taberna Kaixo are all within 3-4 minutes. For self-catering, rooms have a small fridge and there are minimarkets nearby. The hostal's staff can also offer recommendations.

The hostal is located on the 4th floor and is served by a lift. Wi-Fi is free throughout and reliable enough for video calls and work (desk and chair are provided in the room). The 24-hour reception can assist with check-in at any hour, offer tourist information, book taxis, and accept parcel deliveries (standard size, free, a few days before arrival). Luggage storage is available free of charge on the day of check-in/out. A safety deposit box is provided in each room. Payment is accepted via American Express, Visa, Maestro, and MasterCard. No private parking exists; the nearest public garage is about 500 metres away.
