The hostel is on a narrow street in the city centre, a 5-minute walk from Sol and La Latina metro stations. Plaza Mayor, El Retiro Park, and the Prado Museum are all within a 10-minute walk. The vibrant La Latina district with its tapas bars is nearby, and the San Miguel Market is a 15-minute walk away. The street itself has restaurants but relatively little traffic; however, rooms facing the street can pick up noise from bars and garbage trucks, especially on weekends. The airport bus to Plaza de Cibeles drops you a 10-minute walk from the hostel. The location is pedestrian-friendly and safe, making it easy to explore the city without using public transport.

All rooms feature a private bathroom with a shower, free toiletries, and a hairdryer. Dorm beds come with individual lockers (height 79cm x width 39cm x depth 44cm), reading lights, and a bag for belongings. Double and superior double rooms also have a wardrobe and flat-screen TV; some superior doubles include a terrace. Bed linen and towels are provided. The rooms have double-glazed windows, but street-facing rooms can be noisy due to nearby bars and garbage trucks. The air conditioning is centrally controlled, not individually adjustable in the room. Some rooms have the sink inside the sleeping area, which can disturb other sleepers when used. Bunk beds may be shaky and lower bunks have limited sitting height. Noise from the corridor, elevator, and ventilation can also be audible. Families note that dormitories are shared, but private rooms are available for groups.

Breakfast is a buffet costing 6 EUR, offering cakes, croissants, breads, cheeses, ham, a selection of drinks, and orange juice. It is considered adequate for the price, providing a convenient start to the day without leaving the hostel. The on-site restaurant Saporem focuses on local dishes, and the bar and snack bar offer additional options. There are also many restaurants, bars, and a supermarket within a short walk, providing plenty of alternatives for lunch and dinner. No cooking facilities are available in the hostel, only a microwave and basic utensils for heating food.

The hostel organises daily activities such as walking tours of the city, tapas tours, pub crawls, and tapas and flamenco shows, all for an additional charge. These are arranged at the front desk according to a schedule. Bicycle rental is also available for exploring Madrid further. The property features a lounge area and an outdoor terrace where travellers can socialise. There is no spa, gym, or swimming pool on site.
