HOSTAL DON PEDRO, Madrid

The guest house is set in Madrid, roughly 5 km from Parque de Atracciones de Madrid and 6 km from key central landmarks including Mercado San Miguel, Plaza de España Metro Station, Puerta del Sol, Gran Vía, Plaza Mayor, Temple of Debod, Casa de Campo and the Reina Sofía Museum. Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport is 20 km away. The immediate area has a cluster of bars and restaurants within a 5-minute walk, including Los Mesegares, Bar La Alternativa, Churrería de Miguel and El Galon. The property is accessed through the back of a bar, which can affect the first impression. Street noise is notable from rooms at the front.

Rooms are available as twin or triple configurations (each with 2 beds). All rooms include a private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer, a work desk, TV (flat-screen/plasma), and free Wi-Fi. Parquet floors and air conditioning are standard. Space in the bathroom is tight, particularly around the shower tray and WC; the bathroom door may not provide full privacy (some open directly to the bedroom area). The property is older and rooms are small, with thin walls and limited soundproofing. Noise from the street, other rooms, and the bar entrance can be significant, especially in rooms near the front desk. Mattresses may show wear (sagging in the middle) and headboards are hard. The property is non-smoking throughout. Extra beds cannot be added.

The guest house does not have its own restaurant. Breakfast is optional and availability depends on the room and dates - confirm at the time of booking. Several bars and casual eateries (Los Mesegares, Bar La Alternativa, Churrería de Miguel, El Galon, Chigar, Bar el Verde, Vegania) are within a 5-minute walk, offering hot and cold options for those who prefer to eat outside the property.
