Metro Line 8 runs from Barajas station directly into central Madrid (Nuevos Ministerios, Colón), making city exploration easy. IFEMA is 5 km away, and El Retiro Park is 14 km away. The immediate neighbourhood is safe and walkable, with several restaurants, bars, a supermarket and a minimarket open on Sundays within a 5-10 minute walk. The hostel is a short walk from the airport P5 car park, and staff can show you the exact route. For airport transfers, a paid shuttle (€10) is available, but the walk and Metro are reliable alternatives. Note that the hostel has no external signage, so use the address carefully and look for a discreet commercial premise.

All rooms are shared dormitories (no private rooms). The dorms are spacious with high ceilings, but several factors affect comfort: many rooms have no windows, so ventilation relies on air conditioning; without a fan, rooms can become stuffy. Bunk beds are metal with no privacy curtains, individual reading lights, shelves, or hooks. Some mattresses are comfortable, but others have been reported as very hard and springy. Soundproofing is limited, and a non-stop engine noise has been noted by some visitors. The property enforces quiet hours and lights-out after 10:00 p.m., which helps maintain a calm environment. Storage for suitcases is provided in a secure luggage room, with small lockers for valuables. Free towels and toiletries are supplied.
