The Duomo is just 300 metres away, Sforzesco Castle is under 1 km, and San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore is a nine-minute walk. The metro station is a two-minute walk, providing direct lines to Milan Central Station and the airport express. The area is dense with cafés, restaurants, and shops, including multiple dining options within 300 metres. For airport access, Milan Linate Airport is 9 km away; the direct train to Malpensa departs from Cadorna station, about 15 minutes on foot.

Units range from studios to two-bedroom apartments, each with a private bathroom, air conditioning, a kitchenette, and a flat-screen TV. The attic layout means sloped ceilings: doorways are about 1.85 m high and some shower spaces are tight, making the apartments less suitable for tall people. Some rooms have only skylights rather than windows, and noise from the elevator and neighbouring rooms is common. The furniture is basic and can show wear; some beds and sofa beds are reported as less comfortable. Bedding and towels are provided. Kitchenettes include a refrigerator, microwave, and tea/coffee maker.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas. The building has a lift that reaches the 5th floor; the apartments are on the 6th floor, accessed by a final flight of stairs.
