Buses along Geylang Road provide direct access to the city centre, Marina Bay, and other attractions. A taxi from Changi Airport takes 20-30 minutes and costs SGD 25-35. The neighbourhood has many restaurants, including 24-hour options, and is within walking distance of the Singapore Sports Hub and National Stadium. Note that the area has a red-light district, which some may find uncomfortable, especially at night.

Standard rooms are small, with limited luggage space-only a small suitcase can be opened fully. Superior rooms include a window (for viewing only, cannot be opened). All rooms have a private bathroom with hot shower, hairdryer, and drinking water tap. Beds are firm, pillows tall, and soundproofing to hallways is poor. Road-facing rooms or those near the lift may be noisier. Rooms come with a TV, desk, and safe; minibar fridges are available in superior rooms subject to availability. No wardrobes, slippers, or bidets are provided. Daily housekeeping changes towels and makes the bed, but floor cleaning may be inconsistent.
