HOTEL 900 TOSCANA, Florence

The hotel is perfectly positioned for sightseeing, placing major landmarks and the historic centre within a short walk. Santa Maria Novella train station is a 9-minute walk away, offering direct rail connections across the city and to Florence Airport (9 km). The surrounding streets are lined with restaurants, shops and cafés, making it easy to explore on foot. Cars enter the limited traffic zone of Florence, so advance parking booking is essential. A tram stop nearby provides a practical car-free option for reaching the airport or outer areas.

Rooms are compact and best suited for travellers who prioritise location over space. Each room includes air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a work desk, an electric kettle, and a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer and slippers. Single, double, twin, triple and quadruple configurations are available, with some family rooms. Rooms facing the street above the pub can be very noisy at night, especially with the windows open. The lift is small but functional. Those needing more space or a quieter stay should consider requesting a courtyard-facing or higher-floor room. Some double beds are two single mattresses pushed together, which may not suit everyone.

Breakfast is served at a nearby bar, not in the hotel, so plan accordingly. The meal is a basic Italian continental style with bread, pastries and juice. A dining table is available in the room. Several highly rated restaurants are within a short walk, including I'Tuscani 2, La Spada, and Osteria delle Belle Donne, all approximately a 0.5 km walk.

A tour or class about local culture is available for an additional fee. Off-site activities such as cooking classes, live music, and movie nights can also be arranged for an extra charge. A shared lounge with a TV area provides a casual space for relaxation.

The hotel offers free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Luggage storage is free and self-service, available before check-in and after check-out. A lift serves all floors, making it easier to move bags. Daily housekeeping is provided, though service frequency may vary. The property has 24-hour security with CCTV and key card access. Express check-in and check-out are available, and a tour desk can help with local arrangements. Business facilities include free fax/photocopying. An iron and a washing machine (outside, 5 min walk) are accessible. No in-room safes are available.
