HOTEL CAMILLA FIRENZE, Florence

The hotel sits in the heart of Florence, within easy reach of Piazza del Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, the Accademia Gallery, and the San Lorenzo Market. The train station is a 9-minute walk, and the airport can be reached via tram T2 in about 30 minutes. The surrounding streets are pedestrian-friendly and packed with restaurants, bars, and shops. Driving is not recommended because the hotel is in a Limited Traffic Zone; paid garages such as Garage Michelangelo and Garage Sant'Orsola are a short walk away.

All rooms are located on the second floor (no elevator) and include a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Each room is air-conditioned and comes with a flat-screen satellite TV, minibar, tea and coffee maker, wardrobe, and parquet floors. Room sizes vary; some are compact, while triple and family rooms offer more space. A number of rooms face an inner courtyard and may feel dark or have limited views. Road-facing rooms can pick up street noise, and rooms near the breakfast area may hear early-morning activity. Many bathrooms have been recently renovated, though some units may show signs of age such as mould or minor wear. Soundproofing between rooms is limited, so light sleepers may benefit from earplugs.

Breakfast is available for an additional charge (5 EUR) and includes bread, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, yoghurt, fruit, and hot drinks from a quality coffee machine. The breakfast room is compact and can become crowded at peak times; guests may experience a short wait for seating. The hotel also offers a snack bar and can arrange in-room breakfast. Guests who arrive before breakfast hours can store luggage and explore nearby cafés.
