HOTEL GIGI, San Diego

Hotel Gigi is in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter / East Village, placing you within walking distance of Petco Park, the San Diego Convention Center, USS Midway Museum, and the Gaslamp Quarter's bars and restaurants (roughly 0.5 km from over a dozen dining options). San Diego International Airport is 4 km away, reachable by car or transit. The area offers easy access to the Blue Line trolley and major attractions like Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo. Parking is not available on-site; nearby parking structures and street parking (free after 6 pm) are the primary options. The location is ideal for event-goers and those who prefer to explore on foot.

Rooms are small, basic, and designed for sleeping and showering, not for spending extended time in. Each room includes a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, air conditioning, and a hairdryer. Some rooms feature a tumble dryer and a welcome chocolate. Room types include single, double, and quadruple (the latter with two beds). Storage is very limited - no dressers or closets, so plan to live out of your suitcase. Noise insulation is minimal; street-facing rooms and those near the elevator can hear outside and hallway activity. Upper-floor rooms are accessible by lift. The property is renovated and kept clean, but furnishings are spartan.
