HOTEL ALLETY, Paris

Hôtel Allety is situated on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis, a bustling street lined with restaurants, cafés, and shops open late. The metro station outside serves multiple lines, enabling direct access to key sites: Place de la République (900 m), Pompidou Centre (1 km), Louvre Museum (2 km). Orly Airport is 16 km away. The area around Porte Saint-Denis is lively day and night, with a strong concentration of dining and entertainment options within a 300-metre radius. The neighbourhood is walkable for most tourist attractions, though the street can be noisy until late - top-floor rooms offer more quiet. A public parking lot with limited spaces is only 80 metres from the hotel.

Accommodation includes twin, double, and triple rooms, all featuring private bathrooms (with bath or walk-in shower), parquet floors, and heating. Some rooms offer a balcony with a view of the Porte Saint-Denis arch. Triple rooms include a minibar. Rooms are on upper floors reachable only by spiral staircase - there is no lift. The interior varies: some units are described as basic and dated with visible wear, while others - particularly top-floor rooms - are cleaner and more modern. Soundproofing is limited; road-facing rooms can be noisy. Bedding is changed and bathrooms cleaned daily. Key collection at reception each time you leave the hotel is standard.

The hotel does not have an on-site restaurant, but breakfast is offered as an add-on for 8 EUR per person, delivered to the room at a pre-arranged time. The continental breakfast typically includes a croissant or pain au chocolat, half a baguette with butter and jam, a hot drink, and fruit juice. A vending machine for drinks is available in the lobby, and a coffee house is located on site. The immediate area around the hotel is rich with restaurants, cafés, and bakeries within a 2-minute walk, making it easy to explore local dining options for lunch and dinner.

The hotel provides free Wi-Fi in all areas, though signal strength can vary on top floors. A 24-hour front desk accepts express check-in/out and can store luggage before check-in (15:00) and after check-out (12:00) at no extra charge. Daily housekeeping changes towels and makes the beds. A paid shuttle service is available for local trips (additional charge), but airport shuttle is not offered. Cots are available on request. Parking is not on site; the nearest public lot is 80 metres away (27 EUR/day). Pets are not allowed, and the entire property is non-smoking. Fax/photocopying and a shared lounge/TV area are also available.
