The area is quiet despite the central location - the hotel sits on a side street behind the Atlantic Hotel. Numerous restaurants, cafes and bistros are within a 300-metre radius.

Room sizes vary significantly by category. Single and standard Double rooms are notably compact - the bed is against the wall and side access is required. Bathrooms are small, some with a shower curtain and very limited space. Family and quadruple rooms offer more generous proportions; the top-floor family room (room 501) is described as spacious with 3 beds. All rooms include cable TV, a work desk, a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, and soundproofed windows. There is no air conditioning; windows can be opened for ventilation. Rooms facing the street may experience some street noise, while interior courtyard rooms are quieter. Lighting is basic; some rooms feel dark in the evening. The building is older and rooms are functional rather than modern.

Breakfast is a standard continental buffet with sufficient variety for most travellers. The breakfast room can get busy during peak hours, but the service is well staffed and tables are cleared promptly. Special diet menus are available on request. For other meals, several restaurants, cafes and bistros - including Asian, Indian and steakhouse options - are within a 300-metre walk. A vending machine for drinks is available in the hotel.
