HOTEL ARTROMANO, Rome

The hotel sits in the heart of Rome, steps from Termini - the city's main transport hub. Major sights such as the Colosseum, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain are within a 30-40 minute walk. Numerous restaurants, bars, and cafés lie within a three-minute radius along Via Marsala and surrounding streets. A metro station is less than one minute away, giving direct access to the Vatican and other districts. For airport transfers, Termini offers frequent trains to both Ciampino (14 km) and Fiumicino. The immediate area is practical and well connected, with supermarkets and convenience stores nearby.

Accommodation ranges from single rooms to family rooms, all with private bathrooms equipped with bath, shower, and bidet. Each room has a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee maker, minibar, work desk, and wardrobe; some also feature a sofa bed. Air conditioning and heating are installed, though some units have reported inconsistent performance. The building is older and the interior shows wear - furniture and decor are dated but functional. Road-facing rooms can experience street noise; internal rooms are quieter. The lift only serves the first two floors; the hotel is on the third floor, so guests with heavy luggage or mobility issues should factor in one flight of stairs. Soundproofing is limited, so light sleepers may wish to request a room away from the street.

Wi-Fi is free in all rooms and generally reliable. Services include express check-in and check-out, lockers, and daily room servicing (though thoroughness varies). The lift operates only to the second floor; the third-floor accommodation requires using stairs. Reception is unstaffed most of the time; all contact is managed via WhatsApp or phone. Safety features include CCTV in common areas, fire extinguishers, and key access to the building. No parking is available. Payments can be made with Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, and CartaSi. Pets are not allowed.
