HOTEL ASTER AN DER MESSE, Berlin

This privately run property is situated in the Charlottenburg district, within easy walking distance of the ICC congress centre and exhibition grounds. The Theodor-Heuss-Platz U2 underground station is a 3-minute walk away, providing direct rail connections to central Berlin and the Olympiastadion. The ZOB central bus station is also nearby. Drivers will find the A100 ring road and A115 motorway close by, while free street parking is available in the surrounding streets, though it can be easier to find in the evening. The neighbourhood is safe and well-served, with a supermarket, a convenience store, and numerous restaurants and cafés within a 5-minute walk.

The hotel offers a mix of room types, from singles to quadruple rooms, all with private bathrooms with a shower cabin, a flat-screen TV, a telephone, and carpeted flooring. Some rooms feature a fridge, and the spacious, high-ceilinged interiors are a consistent positive. However, the overall condition is mixed: while some rooms appear recently renovated with new furniture, many others are dated, with worn carpets, old beds, and basic decor. Noise from the street or neighbouring rooms can be an issue in older, less soundproofed buildings chosen for road-facing rooms to avoid disturbance.

Breakfast is no longer provided. For a morning meal, there are several cafés and bakeries within a 2-5 minute walk. The surrounding streets are lined with a variety of restaurants, including Joe's Restaurant und Wirtshaus, M.Looi Sushi Bar, Rasas Indian Restaurant, and many others, all within 0.3-0.5 km. A supermarket is also nearby for self-catering options.

No spa, wellness centre, or swimming pool is available at this hotel. The property is a straightforward accommodation-focused hotel with no leisure facilities.
