The guest house is situated on a quiet, tree-lined street in the Steglitz area, with a bus stop directly outside and the S1 S-Bahn station about a 10-minute walk away. This provides direct rail access to central Berlin, with the Brandenburg Gate reachable in around 20 minutes. The Free University of Berlin is within walking distance, as are several parks. Street parking is available nearby but can require some searching. Many restaurants offering German and international cuisine are within a few hundred metres.

Rooms are basic and functional, with a washbasin in the room and shared bathroom facilities in the hallway. Some double rooms offer a private bathroom. Family rooms with three single beds provide generous space, but all decor is dated and furnishings show wear. The building is an older property with creaky wooden floors and limited soundproofing - rooms facing the street may experience some traffic noise, while interior-facing rooms are quieter. Windows are single-glazed; no air conditioning is available, and heating can be slow to warm up. Some rooms have a balcony, though access may be from a neighbouring room. Cots can be provided on request.

Breakfast is a buffet with bread rolls, croissants, cold cuts, cheese, jam, cereal, milk, eggs, tea, and coffee. The selection is simple but adequate for most tastes. However, replenishment can be inconsistent - arriving early ensures the widest choice. There is no restaurant or bar on site. Within a short walk, several casual eateries serve German, Italian, and international cuisine, including Trattoria Romana and Weihenstephaner Lichterfelde.

The guest house does not offer a spa, swimming pool, or fitness centre. The surrounding neighbourhood provides access to parks and the Botanic Garden, which are a short walk away and suitable for a leisurely stroll.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property and works reliably in rooms and common spaces. The reception is not staffed 24/7 - guests can use a bell to call for assistance. Luggage storage can be arranged before check-in or after check-out. There is no lift, so rooms on upper floors require climbing stairs. Room cleaning and towel changes occur every third day; daily servicing is not provided. Accepted payment methods include Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, UnionPay, and EC-Card.
