HOTEL DALI, Florence

The hotel is on a central street just behind the Duomo, a 4-minute walk from Piazza della Signoria and less than 1km from the Uffizi Gallery. The Accademia Gallery is 800metres away, and Florence's main train station (Santa Maria Novella) is a 15-minute walk. Florence airport is 12km from the property. The surrounding streets are filled with restaurants, bars and grocery shops, and the area feels safe to walk at all hours. A tram stop is nearby, making it easy to reach the outskirts or Villa Costanza parking.

The hotel offers single, double, triple and suite rooms. Many rooms have a private bathroom inside the room, while others have a shared bathroom located in the corridor (the room itself has a sink and mirror). Suites and some triple rooms include a living area, kitchenette and washing machine. Bed configurations include double beds, twin beds, and sofa beds. All rooms have windows - some face the inner courtyard (quieter) and others face the street or even offer a view of the Duomo. There is no balcony. Noise isolation is limited, especially in street-facing rooms, so light sleepers may prefer a courtyard room. The lift serves most floors, though a few rooms are on a top floor accessible only by stairs.

A light self-service selection of packaged pastries, crackers, tea and coffee is provided free of charge each day, enough for a simple start to the morning. There is no cooked breakfast or on-site restaurant. Dozens of trattorias and cafés are within a 2- to 5-minute walk, including Osteria del Proconsolo, La Giostra and Corte dei Pazzi. Several grocery shops are also nearby for self-catering, and many rooms have a kitchen or kitchenette.

WiFi is free throughout the building. Daily housekeeping keeps the rooms and shared areas clean. Luggage storage is available from 09:00 to 17:00, useful for early arrivals or late departures. Laundry service is offered at an extra charge (no self-service machines on site). The reception is open 12:00-19:00; outside those hours self-check-in is arranged via WhatsApp. The staff speak English, Spanish, French, Italian and Japanese. Cots can be provided on request. No pets are allowed. Safety equipment includes fire extinguishers. Payment is accepted by Visa, CartaSi and MasterCard.
