The neighbourhood has a working-class feel with some graffiti, but is safe and well-connected. For drivers, the hotel is accessible from the centre, and the paid parking spot (11 EUR/day) is a few minutes' walk away.

Room sizes vary significantly: some are large with high ceilings, while others are small, especially the single rooms. The double beds consist of two single mattresses pushed together, which can separate. Many rooms contain a fridge, electric kettle, flat-screen TV, and a sitting area. Heating can be insufficient in colder months - some rooms have portable heaters. Street-facing rooms can be noisy from traffic, while courtyard rooms are quieter. Noise insulation is poor; corridor sounds and other guests are audible. The carpets and furniture are dated and show wear.
