HOTEL DEL BORGO, Bologna

Quick access to the A14 motorway and the Bologna ring road makes it ideal for drivers. The historic centre is 20-30 minutes away by car (or about 25-30 minutes by bus). A bus stop 100-200 m from the hotel provides services every 10 minutes to the city centre, Bologna Centrale station (bus 35), and the airport (bus 54). A shopping centre and several restaurants are within walking distance. Guests arriving by car find the free on-site parking a major convenience, while those relying on public transport can reach the centre without needing a taxi.

Rooms are generally spacious and clean, furnished in a classic Italian style. Soundproofing is effective when windows are closed; however, rooms at the front facing the road can experience some traffic and construction noise. Rear-facing rooms are quieter. Road-facing rooms have an exterior light that illuminates the room, and the curtain may not fully block it. Some rooms on the ground floor have windows close to ground level - these may feel less private. An attic room (top floor) is walk-up only (no lift). Bathrooms are private, with some reported as spacious and others compact. Amenities include free toiletries, a hairdryer, and a private bathroom with either a shower or bathtub.

Parking is a private, free, unreserved courtyard. The reception is open from 13:00 to 23:00. After 23:00, an electronic door code is provided for self-check-in. A paid transfer service to the airport or train station can be arranged by taxi (the hotel's own shuttle is suspended). Luggage storage is available for early arrivals or late departures. Services include a safety deposit box, 24-hour security (CCTV, smoke alarms), a shared lounge/TV area, and a fax/photocopying service. The property is wheelchair accessible with an adapted bathroom, grab rails, and a lift. Pets are not allowed, and no smoking is permitted throughout.
