Hotel Details

Location

Set in Bologna's historic university quarter, steps from the Municipal Theatre and the National Picture Gallery, offering a 5-10 minute walk to Piazza Maggiore and all major attractions.
The hotel is situated in the vibrant university area, surrounded by medieval architecture, typical restaurants, and lively bars. Bologna Centrale train station is a 10-15 minute walk away (900 m), with several bus lines connecting directly. Guglielmo Marconi Airport is about 6 km from the city center, roughly a 15-minute taxi ride. The property is within a limited traffic zone, so car access requires advance coordination with staff. The neighbourhood is bustling in the evenings due to its student population, making it convenient for dining and nightlife, though this can contribute to street noise at night.

Leisure

No on-site wellness or leisure facilities are available, but the hotel provides a shared lounge/TV area and a bar.
The hotel does not offer a spa, pool, fitness centre, or gym. For relaxation, guests can use the shared lounge or explore the rich cultural offerings of Bologna's historic centre, including the Two Towers, Basilica of San Petronio, and Piazza Santo Stefano, all within walking distance. The area also has many shops and arcades to discover.

Top Strategic Tips

  • 01

Request a room on a higher floor or facing the internal courtyard if you are a light sleeper, as street-facing rooms can be noisy from nearby bars and late-night foot traffic.

  • 02

Reserve a parking spot in advance at the nearby garage (€20/day) before arrival, and give your license plate to the staff upon arrival to authorize circulation in the limited traffic zone (ZTL).

  • 03

Plan for breakfast at the hotel for €8 per person if you prefer a continental and Italian buffet with made-to-order cappuccinos; for a more varied meal, you can explore the many cafés and restaurants within a short walk.

  • 04

Use the luggage storage after check-out to explore the city freely, and take advantage of the 24-hour reception for flexible late arrivals.
