HOTEL FOGO AMSTERDAM, Amsterdam

The property sits on the outskirts of Amsterdam, making it slightly farther from major attractions such as Vondelpark (8 km) and the Van Gogh Museum (9 km). The nearest public transport is tram line 1 or bus 194 from the Matterhorn stop, located about 5-10 minutes on foot, which goes directly to the city centre (approx. 30-40 min). For travellers arriving by car, the hotel offers convenient motorway access. A McDonald's and a petrol station are adjacent, but for more varied dining or shopping, a short tram ride is required. The neighbourhood is generally quiet, though road and parking lot noise can sometimes be audible. The hotel does not operate a shuttle service to the airport; the tram and bus are the recommended alternatives.

Breakfast is available from 07:30 to 10:30 and costs €12 if pre-booked or €15-€18 on the day. It offers a continental buffet with breads, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, hot and cold drinks, and some hot options like scrambled eggs. Children have a separate kid-friendly buffet, and special dietary menus can be requested. The property also has a coffee house on site where you can buy coffee, tea, and snacks, plus vending machines for drinks and snacks. For self-catering, there is a communal lounge with a microwave and hot water. McDonald's and KFC are located immediately next door, and several other restaurants (Tostini, Restaurant Bir Bey) are about 2 km away.

The hotel offers a 24-hour front desk, express check-in/out, and a concierge service. Luggage storage is free for early arrivals or late departures. A paid laundry service is available.
