HAMPTON BY HILTON AMSTERDAM ARENA BOULEVARD, Amsterdam

The hotel sits at the centre of Amsterdam Southeast, the city's liveliest entertainment area. The station (train, metro, bus) is directly across the square, providing non-stop metro service to Amsterdam Central in about 15-20 minutes. Schiphol Airport is reachable in 20 minutes by train or bus 300, which runs every 10 minutes. The surrounding area includes the Johan Cruijff ArenA, Ziggo Dome, AFAS Live concert venue, and an IMAX cinema, all within a 5- to 10-minute walk. Several restaurants, a supermarket, a shopping centre, and a game arcade are within easy reach. The cruise port is about 15 km away, best reached by train from Bijlmer Arena. The hotel does not operate an airport shuttle, so public transport is the recommended option; taxis are available from the official airport stand.

Breakfast is served from 6:30 to 10:30 on weekdays and from 7:00 to 10:30 on weekends, included in many room rates. The buffet includes a waffle station (usually with a queue), hot items such as scrambled eggs and sausages, cereals, bread, pastries, fruit salad, yogurt, and hot drinks from two coffee machines. The breakfast area is small for the hotel's capacity; arriving early helps avoid long waits for coffee and waffles. The hotel does not have a sit-down restaurant; the bar in the lobby serves pizza and drinks in the evening. For more variety, several cafés, fast-food outlets, and a supermarket are within a few minutes' walk. The bar area doubles as the reception, which can slow down check-in during busy periods.

The fitness centre is equipped with the latest exercise machines and is free for all guests, accessible during reception hours. There is no pool, spa, or sauna on-site. For leisure beyond the hotel, the surrounding entertainment district - with the ArenA, Ziggo Dome, AFAS Live, IMAX cinema, and an arcade - is within a 5- to 10-minute walk. Bicycle rental is available for an additional charge, and secure indoor bicycle parking is provided for guests who bring their own bikes.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel and reliably stable. Luggage storage is free before check-in and after check-out; the luggage room is secure. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/out and private check-in/out. Safety deposit boxes, key-card access, CCTV, and smoke alarms are provided. Laundry and dry cleaning are available for an additional charge. The hotel has a lift and offers accessible rooms with grab rails, a lower sink, an emergency cord, and wheelchair access. Parking is private, off-site (address: Bijmerdreef 51), costs €40 per day, and cannot be reserved. An electric vehicle charging station is available. No water is provided in rooms, but vending machines for drinks and snacks are on-site. The reception-bar layout can cause queues during busy check-in or evening times; planning arrival outside peak hours is recommended.
