Numerous restaurants, cafés, and shops are within a few minutes' walk, making dining convenient. The immediate area around the station can feel less comfortable after dark, but the street itself is generally safe and well-lit. For airport transfers, taking the train from Termini is more practical than relying on a local bus because the hotel does not offer a shuttle.

The accommodation is basic and reflects the two-star rating - rooms are clean but the furnishings are dated and some fixtures show wear. Bed sizes vary: double/twin rooms have standard beds, while triple rooms may include a sofa bed or extra folding bed that is less comfortable for adults. Bathrooms are en suite but notably small, with a shower area that is cramped and uses a curtain; in some rooms the shower is positioned next to the toilet without a proper cubicle. Noise can be an issue - soundproofing between rooms and from the corridor is limited, so light sleepers may be disturbed by other guests. Air conditioning works but some units lack a remote and may struggle during very hot weather; the building's historic windows and shutters help block daytime heat. Rooms on higher floors require use of a very old and small lift. A balcony or roof terrace is available in specific rooms and should be requested at booking.

The breakfast voucher covers a simple Italian-style breakfast - typically a coffee and a pastry - served at a bar located in the same building. For guests who prefer a more substantial morning meal or a seated breakfast, the surrounding area has several cafés and restaurants within a short walk. The hotel does not operate its own restaurant or bar, and there are no in-room kitchen facilities or kettles. For evening meals, numerous dining options are within 300-500 metres, covering Italian, wine bars, and international cuisines.
