HOTEL MOOSBICHL, Munich

The hotel is located in the quiet Moosach district, directly across from the S-Bahn S1 station. From here, the city centre is a 20-minute ride, the Allianz Arena 30 minutes by train, and the Oktoberfest grounds are reachable via the S1 to Hackerbrücke plus a short walk. Olympic Park and Nymphenburg Palace are each within 5 km. The immediate area offers a supermarket, organic shop, and various stores 5 minutes across the tracks. Autobahn A8 is a 10-minute drive away, making the location practical for both transit and car travel.

Rooms are generally small - single rooms measure 8 m² (shared bathroom with a sink in the room) and larger rooms 15 m² (private bathroom with shower and toilet). The decor is traditional and rustic with parquet floors, and all rooms include heating, a sitting area, a flat-screen TV, and free toiletries. Some rooms face the road, and the building is not soundproofed, so noise from stairs and adjoining rooms can be heard. There is no air conditioning; rooms can become warm. Lighting has been described as dim. No rooms have a balcony or tea/coffee-making facilities.

Breakfast is available as a continental buffet, though availability should be confirmed at booking. The hotel bar serves drinks and light snacks, and the shaded terrace offers regional beers - noted as a pleasant spot to unwind. For a fuller meal, three restaurants are within 0.5 km: Dillinger Chicago Bar & Grill, Burgers Moosach, and Restaurant Pils Corner. A supermarket and organic shop are a 5-minute walk away for self-catering.

Leisure facilities are limited to an on-site billiards table and the garden terrace, where guests can enjoy regional beers. There is no swimming pool, spa, or fitness centre. For outdoor activities, Olympic Park (less than 5 km) provides jogging paths, green spaces, and sports venues. The quiet neighbourhood and nearby public transport make it easy to reach Munich's leisure and cultural attractions.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the property for free, though reliability has been noted to be intermittent at times. Parking is free both on site (public, no reservation possible) and on surrounding streets. The hotel offers express check-in/check-out and a key safe for late arrivals. Services include packed lunches on request, invoice provision, and special diet menus (advance request). Pets are allowed on request with possible charges. Additional features include CCTV outside, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, and key access for security. The hotel is non-smoking throughout and has soundproofed rooms. Accessibility is limited: no elevator, and the building has stairs.
