Hotel Details

Location

Centrally located 200 metres from Hamburg Central Station, with easy access to trains, underground, and major sights.

The hotel sits 200 metres from Hamburg Central Station, placing U-Bahn, S-Bahn, and long-distance trains within a 3-minute walk. The Alster lakes and Spitalerstraße shopping street are 5 minutes on foot, while the Port of Hamburg is 2 km away. The lively St. Georg district offers dozens of restaurants and cafés within a 2-minute walk. Despite the central position, well-sealed windows keep rooms quiet. The A24 motorway is a 10-minute drive, but public transport is the most practical way to explore.

Accommodation

Classic rooms with private bathrooms, cable TV, and free toiletries - compact but functional.

Rooms are decorated in a classic style and include an en suite bathroom with shower, hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries. Each room has a flat-screen TV, wardrobe, and heating. Single rooms are compact (14 m2), while double and family rooms offer more space. Some family rooms have 4 beds. Rooms on the inner courtyard side are quieter; street-facing rooms benefit from soundproof windows. Note that no rooms have air conditioning - opening windows in summer may let in street noise. Carpeted floors are standard. A few rooms have dated décor and limited storage. The lift serves all floors but is small; stairs are available.

Dining

A generously sized breakfast buffet is served each morning; there is no restaurant on site.

Breakfast is a buffet with bread, cold cuts, cheese, fresh juice, coffee, eggs (hard-boiled), cereal, and fruit. It is served Monday-Friday 06:30-10:30 and Saturday-Sunday 07:00-11:30. Vegan and gluten-free options are limited. For other meals, scores of restaurants, cafés, and takeaways are within a 2-minute walk, serving local and international cuisine. The hotel has a vending machine for drinks but no lunch or dinner service.

Facilities and Services

Free WiFi, 24-hour reception, luggage storage, and safety deposit boxes - everything needed for a practical stay.

Services include a 24-hour front desk, free luggage storage, and a safety deposit box at reception. A free business centre is available, and fax/photocopying is offered for a charge. The property has a lift (small), CCTV, key card access, and smoke alarms. WiFi is free in all areas. Public parking is possible nearby (charges apply, no reservation) - street parking is also available. No airport shuttle or pet accommodation. The hotel accepts major credit cards: American Express, Visa, Maestro, EC-Card, MasterCard.
