HOTEL PALAZZUOLO, Florence

The hotel sits on Via Palazzuolo, a central street that places the main railway station within 600 metres and the cathedral within a 10-minute walk. The Uffizi Gallery and the Fortezza Da Basso exhibition centre are both 800 metres away. The Arno river is a 5-minute stroll, offering scenic walking routes across the city. The neighbourhood is quiet enough for a good night's sleep yet provides immediate access to many trattorias, cafés, grocery stores, and a coin laundry. The main attractions, shopping streets, and the central market are within a 10-15 minute walk. For those arriving by train or bus, the station is easily reached on foot and the property is also close to coach stops.

The hotel does not serve breakfast, lunch, or dinner, nor does it have a bar. This means guests need to plan all meals outside the property. The immediate area is well supplied with dining options: at least eight restaurants, including traditional trattorias, a sushi spot, and pizza places, are within 300 metres. Several cafés serve coffee and pastries in the morning. The central market with food stalls and takeaway options is also within a 10-minute walk. For those arriving hungry after a long journey, a quick meal or a coffee is easily found before heading to the room.

No spa, wellness centre, swimming pool, or fitness facilities are present on site. The property offers a shared lounge/TV area for relaxing indoors. Some rooms open onto a small balcony, terrace, or a private courtyard-style patio, which can serve as a quiet outdoor spot. The hotel's location in the historic centre means most leisure activities - such as walking tours, museum visits, riverside strolls, and shopping - take place outside the property.
