The location is exceptionally central: the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, and the Uffizi Gallery are all within a 10-15 minute walk. Santa Maria Novella Station is only a few minutes away on foot, providing direct tram connections across the city and to the airport. The surrounding area offers a wide variety of trattorias, pizzerias, and cafés within 300-500 metres, including Trattoria Nerone, Chianineria Trattoria dall'Oste, and many others. Despite the busy street, rooms facing the inner courtyard are quiet. The hotel is on the third floor with lift access, making it easy to reach with luggage.

Accommodation is in single-sex dormitories (female or male, no mixed rooms) with either 4 or 6 beds. Each bed has a comfortable mattress, individual USB charging port, reading light, and a lockable drawer beneath the bed. Rooms are recently renovated, clean, and equipped with air conditioning and heating. The en-suite bathroom includes a shower, toilet, and sink with provided soap and shampoo. Some practical limitations: there are no hooks or shelves inside the shower for clothes or toiletries, the bathroom can be very small, and the automatic motion-sensor light in the room activates with a loud click whenever someone passes the door or bathroom, which can disturb sleep. Rooms facing the street may have some noise, but inner courtyard rooms are quieter. Windows lack curtains in some rooms, so early morning sunlight can wake light sleepers. Air conditioning blows directly on upper bunks.

The hotel does not offer breakfast, a shared kitchen, or any dining area. There is no bar or vending machine on site. However, the street is lined with trattorias, pizzerias, and cafés, including Trattoria Nerone and Chianineria Trattoria dall'Oste, all within a 5-minute walk. A minimarket is available in the building for drinks and snacks. Guests who prefer to prepare their own meals should note that no cooking facilities or fridge are available, and eating in the bedrooms is discouraged.

Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the property. A lift serves all floors, making access easy with luggage. Daily housekeeping is included at no extra charge. The building has 24-hour security including CCTV in common areas, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers. A minimarket and a barber/beauty shop are on site. Luggage storage is available free from 9:00 to 12:00 at check-in and check-out; outside these hours a fee of 5 EUR per day applies. The storage room is not lockable. Check-in is strictly before 21:00 (or 22:30 on some days) and check-out is at 10:00. Payment can be made with Visa, Mastercard, JCB, Maestro, Discover, CartaSi, and UnionPay credit cards. Late arrivals or departures are not accommodated.
