HOTEL PEGASUS, Munich

The hotel sits in a quiet residential area ideal for car-based visitors, with free street parking directly outside. A bus stop at the front door connects to the Solln S-Bahn station (10 minutes on foot), where the S7 line reaches Munich city center in 10-15 minutes. The A96 motorway is nearby, giving quick access to the wider region. A bakery and an Edeka supermarket are next door, and several restaurants (including an Indian restaurant on site) are within 0.3-0.5 km. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, suitable for families, though the 25-minute drive to the city center means public transport is the more practical option for car-free trips.

Accommodation types include single rooms, budget double rooms, double rooms on the quieter back/side of the building, and apartments with private terraces and fully-equipped kitchens. Many rooms open onto a balcony or terrace, and bedding comfort is generally good. The property uses mobile phone towers on the roof, which can produce a humming vibration in some rooms - rooms on the back or side of the building and in the apartment wing are quieter. Road-facing rooms may pick up street noise, and those above the Indian restaurant can carry kitchen odours in the evening. Overall the decor is functional and slightly dated, but cleanliness and practicality are the priority. Rooms are on upper floors with no lift, so stair access is required.

The property does not offer a restaurant or a breakfast buffet. Rooms include a Nespresso coffee machine with free capsules, and a bakery adjoining the hotel sells pastries and bread each morning - a practical option for a simple breakfast. An Indian restaurant is inside the building, and several traditional Bavarian restaurants are within a 5-minute walk. Chang Bistro & Catering (0.5 km) and the Iberl Buhne theater-restaurant (0.5 km) provide additional choices. The Edeka supermarket next door stocks groceries for self-catering, especially useful for apartment guests with kitchen facilities.
