Hotel Details

Location

In the heart of Bologna, 5 minutes from Centrale station and a short stroll to Piazza Maggiore and the historic centre.

The hotel sits on a lively street with many restaurants, bars, and a supermarket (Conad) within 300 metres. Parco della Montagnola is 150 metres away, and the University of Bologna is a 5-minute walk. The location is ideal for exploring on foot; the train station provides easy rail access to Florence, Venice, and the airport (via taxi or monorail from the station).

Accommodation

Clean, functional rooms with private bathroom, flat-screen TV, and air conditioning; some overlook the historic centre.

Room types include single, twin, and triple, all with private bathrooms (some compact), parquet floors, and heating. Wrought-iron beds and simple furnishings keep the style basic but well-maintained. Soundproofing varies: rooms with newer windows can be quiet, but street-facing rooms may experience noise from the nightlife. Top-floor rooms offer wide city views. Ceiling fans are available in select rooms. Daily housekeeping keeps rooms tidy.

Dining

A complimentary breakfast of coffee and croissant is served each morning.

There is no full restaurant on site. The free breakfast includes freshly baked croissants, coffee/cappuccino, and sometimes fruit. The offering is simple but sufficient for a quick start. For more substantial meals, the surrounding streets are filled with trattorias, pizzerias, and gelaterias within a few minutes' walk. A minimarket on site offers snacks and drinks.

Amenities

Free Wi-Fi, 24-hour front desk, lift, and express check-in/out are available.

The 24-hour front desk can store luggage (free, but confirm timing), provide maps, and arrange taxis. The lift serves all floors. Wi-Fi is free throughout; however, some rooms may have weaker signal. No parking on site, but a public garage is a short walk away. Air conditioning is available from May; heating in winter is reliable. Daily housekeeping is provided. The hotel is entirely non-smoking.
