HOTEL STADION STADT, Hamburg

The hotel is situated directly on a busy main road, providing easy access by car to the A7 motorway. The football stadium and Barclaycard Arena are reachable on foot in about 30 minutes, making this a practical base for event-goers. Supermarkets and many international restaurants are within a short walk. Hagenbeck Wildlife Park is 2 km away, and the St. Pauli district is 5 km from the property. Public transport stops are nearby, and the noise from emergency vehicles and traffic can be constant, especially in road-facing rooms.

All rooms are compact, with some described as very small. Room types include double and triple rooms with private or shared bathrooms; shared facilities are located in the hallway and may serve up to 14 rooms. Some rooms offer a tea and coffee maker, a dining area, and a refrigerator. Road-facing rooms are very noisy due to traffic and limited soundproofing, while some interior rooms can be quieter. Windows offer limited blackout curtains, and there is no air conditioning. Cleanliness is reported as variable, with some rooms having stained carpets, dust, or hair. The property is older and in need of renovation, with worn furniture and thin walls that transmit noise from neighbouring rooms and the hallway. For a short, budget-conscious stay focused on location, the rooms are functional but basic.

The hotel does not have a restaurant or serve breakfast. A coffee machine (sometimes reported as out of order) and a vending machine for drinks are available for basic refreshments. However, numerous restaurants offering international cuisine are within a 500-metre walk, and supermarkets are also nearby for self-catering. This setup means guests should plan their meals outside the hotel.

No wellness facilities are available on site. Guests looking for relaxation or leisure options will need to explore the surrounding area, which provides restaurants, shops, and access to public transport for city attractions.
