Hotel Details

Location

Just 5 minutes on foot from both the Volksparkstadion and Barclays Arena, and a 10-minute walk from Eidelstedt S-Bahn station.

The hotel sits in a quiet residential area less than 1 km from Volksparkstadion and Barclays Arena, making it the top choice for event-goers. Hamburg Airport is 6 km away. The nearest bus stop is a few minutes' walk, and Eidelstedt S-Bahn station is about 10 minutes on foot, providing direct connections to the city centre (30 minutes to Jungfernstieg). Hamburg-Altona Train Station is 6 km away, and the Port of Hamburg is 9 km away. For those arriving by car, the hotel is right off the A7 motorway, making it a practical stopover for road trips. However, the on-site parking fills up quickly on event days, so using public transport is recommended for stadium visits.

Accommodation

Compact, modern rooms with air conditioning, soundproofing, private bathrooms, and walk-in showers.

Rooms are clean, new, and functional, with air conditioning, soundproof walls, a flat-screen TV, and free WiFi. The private bathrooms feature walk-in showers with good water pressure. The design is minimalist: storage is limited to a clothes rack and a couple of small stools, and there is no kettle, safe, or bedside cabinets. The room feels compact and suits short stays of one to two nights or events. Noise insulation between rooms is generally good, but doors can be heard, and the bathroom ventilation fan runs constantly. Windows only tilt open. The property is non-smoking throughout and offers allergy-free rooms. Family rooms are available.

Dining

A basic buffet breakfast with juice, pastries, cheese, and fruit is available for €14.

Breakfast is a self-service buffet offering bread rolls, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, boiled eggs, and fruit. The breakfast area is small and often crowded, with long queues for the coffee machine and food. Seating can be hard to find during peak times (around 9:00), and replenishment can be slow when the hotel is busy. A bar and snack bar serve drinks and small dishes like flammkuchen, though service can be slow. Vending machines for drinks and snacks are available in the lobby.

Wellness and Leisure

No on-site wellness facilities; the outdoor terrace is the main leisure amenity.

The hotel does not have a pool, spa, or gym. The main space for relaxation is the outdoor terrace, which offers seating. For leisure, the adjacent stadiums and park areas are ideal for event-goers and joggers. The bar and snack bar provide a place for an evening drink, though it closes by 22:30-23:00.
