HOTEL STAFFELSEESTRASSE, Munich

The hotel is situated in a peaceful part of Munich, about 9 km from landmarks such as Marienplatz, Deutsches Museum, and Sendlinger Tor. Munich Airport is 49 km away. While the area requires a car or public transport for city trips, the U-Bahn station (a 10-minute walk) and local bus line provide direct connections to the city centre and Oktoberfest grounds. Nearby conveniences include an Aldi supermarket (200 m), a petrol station, and several dining options such as Ital Pizza (0.5 km) and Pizzeria Benevita (1 km). The neighbourhood is safe but the immediate surroundings can feel less busy in the evening.

The apartments feature a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, a kitchenette with stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, and basic kitchenware, plus parquet floors, a wardrobe, a dining table, and a flat-screen TV. Some units offer 1, 2, or 3 beds. While the space is functional and includes a work desk and seating area, the level of finish and cleanliness has been inconsistent. Kitchen supplies are often minimal, with only a few plates, bowls, and cutlery provided. The property suits travellers who need a practical base near the city and prioritise private facilities over modern decor.

The hotel does not operate a restaurant, bar, or offer breakfast. The in-room kitchenette allows self-catering, though the supplied equipment and crockery are basic. A supermarket (Aldi) is within 200 metres, and several casual dining options are within walking distance: Ital Pizza (0.5 km), Pizzeria Benevita (1 km), and Cafe 111 (1 km). For a wider selection, the city centre is accessible via the nearby U-Bahn.

There is no spa, wellness centre, or swimming pool at the hotel. Leisure activities are limited to what the surrounding area offers, including scuba diving nearby. The quiet neighbourhood is suitable for walking, and the hotel provides a practical base for exploring Munich by public transport or car.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. Parking includes free private spaces on site plus a parking garage (no reservation possible). The hotel has a lift, key card access, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers. No airport shuttle, restaurant, or room service is available. The reception is not permanently staffed; check-in and communication are handled by phone or WhatsApp. Luggage storage or daily housekeeping is not a standard service, and the hotel is primarily suited for independent travellers and workers on short stays. Accepted payment methods: American Express, Visa, Maestro, EC-Card, MasterCard.
