SEIBEL'S PARK HOTEL, Munich

A bus stop right outside the hotel connects you to Pasing S-Bahn station in about 4 minutes. From Pasing, trains reach Munich Main Station in 10 minutes and the city centre in about 15 minutes. The location is ideal for accessing Oktoberfest grounds (one train stop away) or the university nearby. The surrounding area is leafy and residential, with a park and green alleys for walking. By car, the hotel is well positioned near the motorway but note that on-site parking is limited to a paid garage (€10/day). Several restaurants, including an Italian and a Greek option, are within walking distance.

Rooms are spacious by Munich standards, with a choice of double, twin or family configurations. Each room includes a private bathroom (some with shower curtain, which can cause water spillage), heating, and a flat-screen TV. Balconies are shared continuous walkways along the floor - privacy is limited, and they connect all road-facing rooms. Sound insulation between rooms and from the hallway is poor; noise from the street, neighbours, or the restaurant downstairs can be an issue, especially for light sleepers. There is no air conditioning, and rooms can become uncomfortably hot in summer; opening the balcony door or windows is the only ventilation. Rooms are described as clean but dated, with older furniture and some signs of wear. Daily housekeeping is provided. A kettle can be provided on request. Road-facing rooms are noisier; rooms away from the street are quieter.

Breakfast is a buffet with a good variety: Turkish options, yogurt, fruit salad, tomatoes, cucumbers, mozzarella, muesli, cheese, sausage, salmon, eggs, and continental items. Dietary options include vegetarian, vegan, halal, and Italian choices. Breakfast is served from 07:00 to 10:00. The breakfast room can get crowded at peak times. The on-site restaurant Da Ugo specialises in Italian cuisine and is open Tuesday-Sunday for lunch and dinner. A Greek restaurant is within a 2-minute walk. The hotel's garden and terrace provide outdoor seating for breakfast and evening drinks.

Leisure facilities are limited to outdoor spaces: a garden with trees, a sun terrace with outdoor furniture, and a picnic area. The adjacent Pasing park provides additional green space for walks. The hotel's roof terrace is available for guests. For fitness or wellness activities, guests need to explore options outside the hotel, as there is no gym, sauna, or treatment rooms on site. The quiet, leafy setting is suitable for guests who value a calm environment over on-site leisure amenities.

Internet is free throughout the rooms, though speeds can be limited (around 2 Mbps). Parking is available in a garage on site for €10 per day; no reservation is possible, and spaces are limited. The garage has poor lighting and narrow access. A bus stop is directly outside the hotel. Express check-in/out and luggage storage are free. Reception is staffed until 20:00; after hours, key collection is via a code system. The lift operates until 22:00; after that, upper floors are only accessible by stairs. Safety features include CCTV in common areas, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, security alarm, and a free safe deposit box. Pets are allowed with applicable charges. Cots are available on request. Housekeeping is provided daily. The hotel also offers a shared lounge/TV area, room service, and fax/photocopying for a fee.
