The hotel is in the heart of the Portuguese Quarter, surrounded by numerous restaurants and within walking distance of the Elbphilharmonie (15 min), Miniatur Wunderland, and the Reeperbahn (10 min). Public transport is excellent: S- and U-Bahn at Landungsbrücken provide direct connections to Hamburg Central Station. The harbour promenade and museum ship Cap San Diego are opposite. Parking is available at the nearby Michel underground car park (€25/day). For airport transfers, note that no shuttle is available; use S-Bahn from Landungsbrücken.

Note that the lift does not reach all rooms; some require stairs. Room sizes vary-some are compact, especially bathrooms. Rooms facing the courtyard tend to be quieter.

The hotel does not have a restaurant for lunch or dinner, but the Portuguese Quarter has numerous dining options within a 2-5 minute walk. Breakfast can be added spontaneously each morning.
