The hotel is situated on a pedestrian-friendly street in the heart of Mexico City's historic district, steps from the Templo Mayor, Metropolitan Cathedral, and National Palace. During the day, the area is filled with market stalls and street vendors, which can make it difficult for taxis and Ubers to reach the hotel. At night, the streets become quieter; visitors typically plan return trips by taxi or stick to well-lit main roads. The airport is about 25 minutes away by car without traffic. No parking or airport shuttle is available.

The hotel offers standard double rooms, triple rooms with a bunk bed setup, and quadruple rooms that can sleep up to four adults. Some larger rooms have two bathrooms, adding convenience for groups. All rooms feature a desk, wardrobe, and electronic lock. However, there is no air conditioning - cooling is provided by ceiling fans only. Rooms with windows to the outside are brighter and better ventilated; interior rooms that face a covered courtyard tend to be darker and warmer. The building has thin walls, so noise from adjoining rooms or the central hall may be audible. Daily housekeeping is included. Some rooms offer views of the street or courtyard, but no rooms have a balcony.

The hotel does not have a dining facility, restaurant, or breakfast offering. A coffee vendor operates outside in the morning, and guests can find a variety of casual eateries within 5-10 minutes on foot, including Sor Juana Cafe (0.5 km) and Restaurante Catedral (0.5 km). More formal dining is available near the Zócalo, about 600 m away. Note that rooms are not equipped with a kettle or coffee maker for in-room hot drinks.
