HOTEL AEROPUERTO, Mexico City

The hotel's primary advantage is its proximity to the airport. A pedestrian bridge connects the hotel to Terminal 1, making the walk about 5-10 minutes during daylight. At night, some find the walk less safe and prefer a short taxi ride (about 100 MXN, 5 minutes). The nearest metro station is also close, providing access to the city centre for those with longer stays. Numerous food options, including several restaurants and a Brazilian buffet, are within a 500-metre walk along the main road. Key city sites like the Metropolitan Cathedral and Tenochtitlan Ceremonial Center are 5 km away, easily reachable by metro or taxi.

All units provide essential comfort: air conditioning, flat-screen TV with cable channels, free toiletries, and bed linen and towels. The rooms are kept clean and are generally quiet, though some internal noise and traffic from the main road can be heard. The beds tend to be firm, and pillows are basic foam slabs. A few rooms have a view of the airport. No rooms have a balcony. The overall feel is functional and practical, best suited for a short overnight stay before or after a flight.

The hotel's restaurant offers a convenient dining option without leaving the property. Breakfast can include à la carte dishes like chilaquiles, as well as continental and American options. Room service is available for in-room dining. The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner, with dishes such as Sopa Azteca noted as a highlight. For those wanting variety, several restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, including a Brazilian buffet and other local options. The bar in the shared lounge area provides a place to relax with a drink.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel, but connectivity in rooms can sometimes be limited; the lobby tends to have a stronger signal. Free private parking is available on-site and does not require a reservation. The 24-hour reception offers luggage storage (useful for late departures), a tour desk, concierge service, and currency exchange. Daily housekeeping is provided for rooms. For business travellers, there is a business centre with free fax/photocopying. The hotel is fully non-smoking and has a lift, though its reliability has varied. Security features include CCTV, 24-hour security, and a security alarm. Credit cards accepted include Visa, Maestro, and MasterCard.
