HOMEWOOD SUITES BY HILTON HOUSTON-WESTCHASE, Houston

The hotel is situated on Westheimer Road in the Westchase area, offering convenient access to major Houston attractions and corporate offices. The Galleria Mall and its shops and restaurants are a short drive away, as are the Herman Park Zoo and the Museum District. Several restaurants are within 0.5 km, including MOD Pizza, Jenivi's Seafood Shoppe, China Cottage, and Whataburger. The location is well-suited for business travelers visiting nearby offices, and the park is close enough for convenient weekend visits. However, road-facing rooms can pick up traffic noise, and the surrounding area is car-dependent with no immediate public transit stop at the property.

The spacious suites feature a separate bedroom with a door from the living room and kitchen area, offering privacy for families or longer stays. Each suite includes a fully equipped kitchen with a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and all necessary pots, pans, utensils, glassware, and dishware. Some suites also have a fireplace. Bed setups vary, with two-bedroom units providing a bathroom in each bedroom. The property has no rooms with a balcony. Room comfort has been noted as generally good, with comfortable beds and effective air conditioning. However, some rooms have reported issues with musty odors, mold, stained furniture, and cleanliness concerns, so inspecting upon arrival is recommended. The property is undergoing renovation, and some rooms show signs of wear.

The hotel previously offered a free hot breakfast buffet and a free weekday evening reception with hot meals, but both services are currently suspended due to renovations. During this period, a simple cold breakfast is provided. Breakfast includes items like fried sausage, hash browns, oatmeal, cereal, pastries, and omelettes (when hot breakfast is available; currently limited). For evening meals, guests can use the in-room kitchen or visit nearby restaurants within a short drive. The free grocery shopping service is still available to help guests stock their suite's kitchen.

The hotel offers an indoor swimming pool (28 °C when open), a hot tub, and a fitness center, but all three are closed until further notice due to major repairs. Guests looking for on-site activity can use the outdoor tennis court and basketball court, which remain open. A picnic area with BBQ facilities and outdoor furniture is also available for leisure. The fitness center, when operational, has limited equipment (e.g., one bike) during ongoing renovations.
