HOWARD JOHNSON BY WYNDHAM NIAGARA FALLS, Niagara Falls

The property is about 5 km from the main tourist area of Clifton Hill and the Falls, which is a 6-10 minute drive or a $10 Uber ride. The motel is well-served by public transport; a bus stop is nearby with kids travelling free. Several restaurants - including Tim Hortons, Karmas, Mai Thai Cuisine, and Subway - are within a 0.5 km walk. Fallsview Casino, Scotiabank Convention Centre, and Canada One Factory Outlets are also within a 10-minute drive. The location is quieter than the immediate Falls area, making it suitable for those who prefer less noise.

The complimentary breakfast includes coffee, tea, juice, muffins, fruit salad, cold cereals, and a waffle maker for fresh waffles. There is no hot protein option like eggs or sausage, but the waffles are a popular item. The on-site Purple Mint Kitchen is open for lunch and dinner (12:00 to 11:30 p.m. daily) and serves Indian and Chinese Hakka dishes in a family-friendly, modern setting. A snack bar and vending machines for drinks and snacks are also available. Given the motel's location, there are many dining options within a short walk or drive.

The outdoor swimming pool is open seasonally, typically from mid-June through the warmer months. Opening hours are 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The pool area is clean and inviting during the season. Several rooms feature heart-shaped or standard jetted tubs for a private spa experience. There is no gym or separate spa facility on site, but the property offers a hot tub/jacuzzi as part of the wellness amenities. The seasonal nature of the pool means it is not available outside summer.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas; signal strength may vary in rooms farthest from the router - these rooms may have weaker connections. Parking is private on site for $10 per night (no reservation needed), and there is an electric vehicle charging station. A seasonal shuttle to the city centre is available for a fee. Other services include a 24-hour front desk, express check-in/check-out, tour desk, and an ATM on site. Housekeeping is daily (free), with dry cleaning and laundry available for an extra charge. For business travellers, there are meeting/banquet facilities, a business centre, and fax/photocopying services. The motel has a security alarm, key card access, smoke alarms, and a safety deposit box.
