Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport is 3 km, while Union Station is a 15-minute walk or a short streetcar ride. The surrounding area includes a park and several dining options within 0.5 km, such as Corvo Bar and Senses Restaurant. Public transport is readily accessible via streetcars and buses. Private double rooms feature a private bathroom with a bath or shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, and heating. Some rooms have a terrace or balcony. Dormitory beds come with privacy curtains, reading lights, and lockers. The room condition varies: some are well-maintained and quiet, while others can be dated, with worn bedding, cracked tiles, or noise from the AC unit and street. Some rooms are windowless or have limited natural light. The property occupies a 19th-century building with wooden floors, which can amplify noise from other guests. Housekeeping provides fresh towels and linens, but daily servicing of private rooms may not be automatic.

Breakfast is included and typically consists of toast, cereal, fruit, porridge, coffee, and tea. It is served in a communal area, which can be a social space. The on-site restaurant specializes in American dishes, including vegetarian-friendly choices. Several nearby dining options are within a 0.5 km walk, including Wahlburgers, Pizza Rustica, and Kost. The shared kitchen lets guests prepare their own meals; it includes an oven, microwave, toaster, and cookware.

The property offers a games room and board games for indoor entertainment. Free movie nights and evening entertainment are organized. Outdoors, a terrace with outdoor furniture and BBQ facilities is available for relaxation or socializing. A fitness/spa locker room is on site. The shared lounge and TV room provide additional communal spaces.
