HOWARD JOHNSON PLAZA BY WYNDHAM OCEAN CITY OCEANFRONT, Ocean City

The hotel sits on the Boardwalk at 12th Street, placing you steps from the beach and within a few blocks of attractions like Jolly Roger Amusement Park (3 km), Speedworld Go-Karts, and Splash Mountain Water Park. Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum is 2 km away. The Boardwalk itself offers casual dining, ice cream, and shopping, making the location ideal for those who want to explore on foot. For drivers, the 5-story parking garage is behind the hotel with accessible parking on the first level; the alley leading to it is narrow but the garage eliminates street-hunting. Ocean City's year-round boardwalk is quieter in off-season, and the hotel's position provides both ocean and bay views from higher floors.

Brothers Bistro is located on the first floor and offers a family-friendly menu with American cuisine. The restaurant is open for all three meals, and diners can order room delivery as well. The bistro also functions as a lounge with a full-service bar. Free coffee and tea are available in the lobby each morning for hotel guests. There is no continental breakfast included with the room; the bistro provides the on-site breakfast option. The surrounding Boardwalk has many additional dining choices within a 0.5 km walk, including Bad Ass Cafe, Backshore Brewing Co, Julia's Ice Cream, and Marco Polo Pizza & Sub Shop.

The indoor swimming pool is heated and features a hot tub/jacuzzi with powerful jets. The pool area is on the ground floor and is equipped with a lift for accessibility. Pool towels are provided. There is no spa or wellness centre on site. For outdoor leisure, the hotel is directly on the beach (beachfront) and the Boardwalk provides biking and walking paths. Bicycle rentals are available at the hotel. Off-site attractions include Jolly Roger Amusement Park, Speedworld Go-Karts, Splash Mountain Water Park, several golf courses (GlenRiddle, Lighthouse Sound, Rum Pointe), and miniature golf.

Free public parking is available in the on-site 5-story garage behind the hotel; street parking is also available alongside the property. The garage is narrow with two-way traffic and no elevator - guests must use stairs to reach the hotel from the garage. The 24-hour front desk can assist with luggage storage, concierge services, and fax/photocopying. Meeting and banquet facilities are available for groups. Pets (dogs up to 23 kg) are allowed with a $100 non-refundable fee per stay. Service animals are welcome. The hotel has accessible parking, four ADA-compliant units, and hearing-impaired alarms on request. There is no airport shuttle. Accepted payment methods: American Express, Visa, Discover, MasterCard.
