The hotel sits on the quieter bay side of the highway, two blocks from the public beach access. The Gold Coast Mall is 250 metres away and TJ Maxx, a movie theater, and Dairy Queen are within the same parking lot. The Ocean City Boardwalk is 10 km - a 20-minute drive or a short bus ride using the stop right outside. For longer trips, Bethany Beach, Dewey Beach, and Rehoboth Beach are all within 35 km. Over 20 golf courses are available in the area. Free parking on site is plentiful, including spaces for trucks and trailers.

All rooms come with a microwave, refrigerator, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and cable TV. Beds are consistently described as very comfortable. The mini-suite has a standard whirlpool tub and a separate shower. Some rooms feature a sofa bed and seating area. Windows do not open, and there are no balconies. Rooms facing the front parking lot have less privacy and view appeal. Request a bay-view room on a higher floor for a quieter stay and a view of the marsh and sunset. A family room sleeps up to four with two queen beds; adjoining rooms are available on request for groups. The property is older and some areas show wear, but rooms are generally clean and spacious.

Breakfast is available at the on-site Denny's, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is no complimentary continental breakfast. Guests show their room key for a 10% discount. For other meals, OC Kabobs, Three Brothers Pizza, Nori Sushi Bar and Grill, Nicks House of Ribs, Bourbon Street, Blue Fish Restaurant, and Trattoria Lombardis are all within a short walk. Food delivery to rooms is also available from local restaurants.

The indoor heated pool and hot tub are open daily from 7am to 10pm year-round. The pool area features a large sundeck overlooking the bay - ideal for sunset views. The fitness centre is free. There is no spa. For outdoor activities, the beach is a two-block walk, and golf courses, tennis courts, a water park, and bowling are available nearby (some for an additional charge). The pool and hot tub area can get busy with children; quieter times are earlier in the day.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. Parking is free and on-site with accessible spaces; no reservation needed, and truck/trailer parking is available. The 24-hour front desk can assist with early check-in requests. A minimarket in the lobby sells drinks and snacks. Vending machines are also available.
