The hotel sits at the corner of St. Catherine Street in the Latin Quarter, directly beside the Berri-UQAM metro station - the junction of three metro lines providing quick access to Old Montreal, the Plateau, and downtown. The 747 airport express bus stops right at the hotel, and the central bus station is a 2-minute walk away. Direct underground access to an IGA supermarket, SAQ wine store, and a food court adds convenience for supplies and meals. The area includes the lively park across the street (hosting events and music until 10-11 PM), numerous restaurants within a 5-minute walk, and easy walking to Place des Arts (1 km) and Clock Tower Beach (19-minute walk). The neighbourhood at the edge of Le Village is home to many unhoused individuals and visible substance use.

All rooms are recently renovated and feature parquet floors, a walk-in shower, free toiletries, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a tea and coffee maker, a safe, a work desk, and a wardrobe. The kitchenette includes a refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. Rooms are spacious, but only one small chair is provided, which may be insufficient for larger groups. King rooms include a pull-out sofa sleeper (best for one adult or two children - not comfortable for two adults). Road-facing rooms and those on lower floors can experience noise from street activity and the park across the street. Air conditioning can be weak in some rooms, particularly on higher floors and during summer. Throws on beds are thin. No rooms have balconies. Soundproofing between adjoining rooms and from the hallway is moderate.

Breakfast is included in all rates and served as a buffet Monday-Friday 6:30-9:30 AM, weekends 7-10 AM. The buffet includes scrambled eggs, sausages or bacon, potatoes, fruit, toast, cereal, yogurt, and coffee/tea. The breakfast area can become very crowded between 8-9:30 AM, with limited seating and food replenishment at peak times. Additional paid options are available at the on-site Starbucks (inside the hotel) and a nearby coffee shop. Several restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, offering diverse cuisines. The hotel also sells microwave meals in the lobby for those who prefer a light option.

The indoor heated pool (approximately 15 metres) is open year-round from 6 AM to 10 PM, with pool towels and sun loungers provided. It can get busy in the afternoon and early evening, especially with children. The sauna and fitness centre are also free of charge. The fitness centre is clean and well-equipped, though it lacks a stationary bike and could be modernized. No bathrobes are provided, and there are no changing rooms near the pool area - guests need to change in their rooms.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas and in rooms. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/check-out, luggage storage, and safety deposit boxes. Secure bicycle storage is available in the luggage store. The property is wheelchair accessible (grab rails, raised toilet, lower sink, braille and tactile signs). Parking is public and on-site for 19-22 CAD per night (height limit 5'7") and includes accessible parking. The business centre offers printing/photocopying and meeting facilities for an additional fee. Daily housekeeping is free, with dry cleaning and laundry available at an extra charge. Pets are allowed on request with a 22.7 kg weight limit, a 75 CAD + tax fee, and the dog cannot be left alone in the room.
