HYATT PLACE TUCSON CENTRAL, Tucson

The hotel is right off the I-10 freeway, providing easy highway access for getting around Tucson. The Tucson Convention Center is 5 km away and Arizona Stadium is 6 km. There is a gas station adjacent and a few restaurants within walking distance including a Waffle House and an IHOP. The immediate area around the hotel has a high number of homeless individuals, and the adjacent transient motel contributes to an environment that feels unsafe to many. Security is on site at night, but the parking lot and sidewalks are openly accessible. For those driving, free on-site parking with no reservation is a practical advantage, but those arriving after dark or travelling alone should be aware of the neighbourhood conditions. The highway is close, but rooms facing away from it offer a quieter experience.

A full hot breakfast is included with the stay. The breakfast buffet typically includes scrambled eggs, sausage, turkey sausage, waffles, French toast sticks, potatoes, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, bread, bagels, gluten-free bagels, and a salsa described as authentically Mexican. Coffee, juice, and glassware are provided. Breakfast hours are from 6:00 AM on weekdays and 7:00 AM on weekends, with service ending at 9:00 AM. There is no restaurant on the property, but a small menu of microwaved items is available from the front desk. For other dining options, a Waffle House is across the street and an IHOP is about one block away. A seafood restaurant is adjacent to the property.

The hotel has a heated outdoor swimming pool and a hot tub in a spacious area with plenty of chairs. The pool area includes sun umbrellas. The fitness centre is equipped for basic workouts. The pool and hot tub are open year-round. The pool area has been reported as occasionally unclean, with algae and bird droppings observed. The water temperature of the pool and hot tub may vary. A golf course is within 3 km of the property.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. Free public parking is available on site with no reservation required, and accessible parking is provided. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/check-out and luggage storage. A free business centre is available, and fax/photocopying services are offered for an additional charge. Laundry and dry cleaning services are available for an additional cost. The property has a lift, key card access, CCTV in common areas, fire extinguishers, and smoke alarms. Safety deposit boxes are available at the front desk. Non-smoking throughout and facilities for disabled guests are provided. A welcome drink is offered upon arrival.
