Buckingham Palace is a 20-minute Tube ride, and Paddington offers direct Heathrow trains in 35-40 minutes via the Heathrow Express or Elizabeth line. The area around Queensway is full of shops, restaurants and bars, with Hyde Park just a few minutes away on foot. The neighbourhood is safe and well connected, though having no lift means that carrying luggage from the station is a real consideration.

Double/twin rooms and triple rooms are around 20 m², though actual sizes vary and some rooms in the basement or upper floors are very compact with limited storage. All rooms have a private bathroom, a TV, a kettle, tea and coffee, a hairdryer, and a safe. Some rooms include a mini fridge, iron and ironing board. Single rooms are 12 m² and suitable for solo travellers. There is no air conditioning; portable fans are provided. Windows open in every room. Heating is available.

The breakfast area is small and can fill up quickly; arriving early helps avoid queues.
